Antiques are dead. This fact cannot be disputed. Pick up any real estate magazine
in Paris and you will see that no fashionable apartment has antiques. Galleries are closed, the Louvre shops are gone
and the quality of goods at Drouot has greatly declined.
So what killed them? Was it decorators, Shabby Chic, prices, or climate change? If you have
some thoughts, I'd love to hear from you.
